Open Source and COMEDI

The USB-DUX Linux driver is integrated into COMEDI (Linux Control and Measurement Interface). Visit the COMEDI project at www.comedi.org.It provides you with demos, code examples and a mailing list where you can discuss your issues with other users.

• Access to the driver code

  You have access to the source code of the driver. The license is GPL. Thus, you can modify the driver to suit to your needs.

• Compatibility with the COMEDI library

  The COMEDI library provides a developer-friendly interface to comedi devices such as the USB-DUX.

• Works with all other COMEDI software

  Any software that uses the COMEDI library (for example, LabView) will instantly work with the USB-DUX.

• Access to the USB firmware

  We will even provide you with the GPLed source code of the firmware should you wish to develop the driver for your own specific needs.
